Offseason conditioning begins in earnest for CU Buffs men's basketball

Spring break is at an end. Which means it's time to get back to work for the Colorado men's basketball team.

The Buffaloes' official offseason conditioning program actually began a week before this past week's respite, but as the team reconvenes in Boulder the Buffs will endure another four weeks of workouts before preparing for final exams.

Yet again it will be a critical phase for the glut of youngsters on CU's roster. While a freshman class that was leaned upon heavily during a 17-15 campaign in 2017-18 certainly showed enough to provide intrigue and excitement at the potential for the upcoming seasons, this spring will present the first opportunity for lanky youngsters like Lazar Nikolic, D'Shawn Schwartz, and Tyler Bey to bulk up for their second foray through the Pac-12 Conference.
