The offensive fireworks that have marked the early nonconference play of the Colorado men's basketball team continued Tuesday night.
The Buffaloes put together another high-scoring performance against South Dakota, running away from the Coyotes for an 82-58 win at the CU Events Center. It was the sixth time in seven games the Buffs have scored at least 79 points.
CU improved to 6-1 heading into Saturday's home game against Illinois-Chicago, which will be the Buffs' final home game until Jan. 10.
South Dakota remained within six points with a little more than six minutes remaining in the first half before the Buffs started piling on, outscoring the Coyotes 15-8 the rest of the way in the first half to take a 41-28 lead at the break.
