The Denver Nuggets added a familiar face to their training camp roster, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Former Colorado Buffs guard Xavier Silas agreed to a training camp deal with Denver, Wojnarowski reported on Twitter.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard has played a total of four NBA games in seven professional seasons, most recently on a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics last season. He appeared in two games for the Celtics, grabbing two rebounds but not scoring any points.
Silas spent two seasons with the Buffs from 2006-08 before transferring to Northern Illinois for his final two years of college eligibility.
