Only a few pieces remain to be filled for the Colorado men's basketball schedule for 2019-20.
On Thursday, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reported that Northern Iowa will be included in the Buffaloes' nonconference home slate next season. It will be the first matchup for the Buffs against the Northern Iowa, which went 16-18 this past season but nearly stole the Missouri Valley Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament before losing to Bradley in the league title game. The Panthers are set to return five of their top six scorers.
The addition of Northern Iowa leaves just three open dates remaining for CU's 2019-20 12-game nonconference schedule, with at least two of those open spots likely to be filled by home dates.
