Colorado held serve at home.
Using another stellar second-half shooting performance, the 18th-ranked Buffaloes were able to overcome a slow start and an early 14-point deficit, eventually holding off visiting USC down the stretch for a 70-66 victory at the CU Events Center.
The victory keeps the Buffs in at least a share of the Pac-12 Conference lead going into Saturday’s home finale against UCLA. The win, combined with Arizona State’s victory against Oregon, put CU in sole possession of first place in the league, though Arizona also remained just a half-game back with a win against Oregon State.
