STANFORD, Calif.—The University of Colorado's record-setting unbeaten streak came to an end on Sunday. The No. 1 Stanford Cardinal handed the No. 15 Buffaloes their first loss of the season, dropping the match 7-0 at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
The loss drops Colorado to 5-1-2 in the Pac-12 Conference and 13-1-3 overall. Stanford extends its unbeaten streak to 37 games, improving to 9-0-1 in conference and 14-0-1 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The two teams entered the afternoon with two of the top offenses in the nation. The Cardinal offense started on a blistering pace, forcing the Buffs into an unfamiliar position.
