Despite not getting selected during this past week's NBA draft, new University of Colorado alum Josh Scott has been thrown a lifeline for his NBA dreams by the Denver Nuggets.
Scott will get to showcase his skills in July as a member of the Nuggets' summer league team in Las Vegas. Scott worked out for the Nuggets last month, and the summer showcase will allow the former CU big man an opportunity to make an impression on scouts from across the league.
CU head coach Tad Boyle said he received a text from Scott's agent confirming the news late Saturday night.
