EUGENE, Ore. – Down 7-6 early in the second half, the 15th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes recorded an 8-2 run to defeat Oregon, 14-9, on Friday night at Pape' Field.
Junior Samantha Nemirov was responsible for five of those eight second-half goals, propelling the Buffs to their fourth win in Pac-12 play. The Buffs are now 7-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play. The Ducks dropped to 4-4 overall and are 2-3 in league competition.
WHAT HAPPENED: Nemirov scored the first goal of the game at 25:25 with the assist going to Miranda Stinson.
