BATON ROUGE, La. — After three days of rain, extreme weather and poor course conditions at The University Club in Baton, Rouge, La., the NCAA made the decision Wednesday to cancel the NCAA Women's Golf Baton Rouge Regional.
Colorado junior Malak Bouraeda was selected as an individual to compete at the regional but due to the conditions the last three days (May 10-12) the tournament was to take place, she was never able to play a hole.
"Highly disappointing that play did not happen today," Colorado coach Anne Kelly said.
