BOULDER — Add Jacob Callier to the list of in-season departures for the CU Buffs football team.
Callier, a sophomore outside linebacker from Bellflower, Calif., is no longer with the program, coach Mel Tucker announced during his weekly news conference Tuesday.
The 6-foot-2 defender had played in three of the Buffs’ first seven games this season and did not dress for four games. He had been listed as one of the No. 2 outside linebackers behind Alex Tchangam going into the Washington State game last week but was absent from the depth chart released Tuesday morning.
