BOULDER — Even at altitude, the Ducks still haven’t figured out how to fly in Boulder.
The CU Buffs staked a claim for a return to the national rankings and notched their first home victory over a top 5 team in two years with a 74-65 win over the fourth-ranked Oregon Ducks on Thursday night in the Pac-12 opener for both squads.
The Buffs (12-2, 1-0 conference) also extended their program winning streak over Oregon (11-3, 0-1 Pac-12) in Boulder to nine meetings without a loss thanks to 21 points from point guard McKinley Wright and 15 from swing man Tyler Bey.
