McKinley Wright IV has been named one of ten finalists for the prestigious Bob Cousy Award, given annually to the nation’s best point guard.
Wright has been incredible in his senior season. His stats are the same as ever — his usual 15 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds per game — but he’s more efficient, more in control, and a better leader on a resurgent Colorado team. The two-time All-Pac-12 nominee is at the top of his game.
According to the CU Sports Information Department, Wright is set only seven assists and 20 rebounds from becoming the first Pac-12 player to surpass 1,600 points, 600 assists and 600 rebounds.
