DENVER — Four individuals from the University of Colorado men's golf team competed here this weekend in Colorado Mines' Bob Writz Invitational, absent the remainder of any teammates, thus no team result was posted.
Sophomore Ross Macdonald turned in the best performance, as he tied for sixth with a 72-77—149 scorecard (5-over par). He had seven birdies, 19 pars, eight bogeys and two doubles in creating his score on the 7,276-yard, par-72 Bear Creek Golf Club course here in southwest Denver.
Senior Kade Crossland tied for 21st with an 80-75—155 effort (11-over), followed by freshman Trevor Olkowski (81-75—156, tied for 25th) and frosh Cole Krantz (80-77—157, tied for 27th).
