USAFA, Colo. - The University of Colorado track and field team enjoyed success on the first day of the Air Force Invite here Friday night at the Air Force Invitational. Freshman and paced the Buffs advancing in both the 60 and 200 meters.
WHAT HAPPENED: QUALIFICATION ROUND ON THE TRACK
Freshman is settling into his freshman season strong with an eighth place finish in the 60 meters. Maas crossed the finish line in 6.68 seconds a time that moves him up to tie for third all-time for CU. His time marks the fastest indoor 60 meters from a Buff in nine years tying with Marcus Stiggers from 1999 who also ran the time in USAFA, Colo.
