BOULDER (Sept. 1) — Ben Broussard, the vice president for development for Louisiana State University's Tiger Athletic Foundation for the last seven years, has been hired in a similar capacity at the University of Colorado, school officials announced Friday.
Broussard will serve as an assistant vice chancellor of advancement and associate athletic director overseeing the Buff Club, athletic director Rick George and vice chancellor for advancement Deb Coffin jointly announced. Broussard has served as vice president for development at LSU since 2010.
Broussard replaces Kurt Gulbrand to head the department's fundraising efforts; Gulbrand left CU in July after more than five years in the post when he was named senior associate athletic director for development at the University of Tennessee.
