Former Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Nelson Spruce has signed with the Los Angeles Chargers, per an announcement by the team on Monday night.
The Buffaloes all-time leading receiver will see time with his fourth NFL team after being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Rams in 2016. Spruce gathered up a good amount of playing time in the preseason over the past two years, but was hampered with injuries before being released by the Rams.
“He’s a good football player,” Rams coach Sean McVay said in September.
