La'Vontae Shenault, the younger brother of Colorado star receiver Laviska Shenault, has given his verbal commitment to the Buffaloes and plans to sign his letter of intent Wednesday.
"Thank you to the new Colorado coaching staff for continuing to believe in me throughout the entire recruiting process," Shenault wrote on Twitter. "I will be joining my brothers LaViska and KD (Nixon). I am proudly committing to the University of Colorado!"
Shenault, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver from DeSoto (Texas) High School, is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and three-star by 247Sports.com. He was originally committed to Texas Tech, but opened his recruitment after the Red Raiders went through a coaching change at the end of last season.
