OAKVILLE, Ontario — University of Colorado senior Alisha Lau has been named to the 2021 Golf Canada Women's Amateur Squad.
Lau, a Richmond, British Columbia, native, is one of seven women to earn a spot on the amateur squad, while the men's team has eight members. This her first year on the amateur team after being a member of Team Canada's Junior Girl's Squad in 2015.
"I'm super excited to be a part of the team for 2021," she said. "It's a big honour being able to represent Canada."
CU Associate Head Coach and Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member Brent Franklin has spent a lot of time working with Lau on her game during the last few seasons.
