CULVER CITY, Calif. - Colorado soccer player Taylor Kornieck was named Top Drawer Soccer Women's National Player of the Week for her efforts in two road matches last week. It is just the third time in school history at CU player has earned national player of the week honors, joining Nikki Marshall (Sept. 7, 2006 by Soccer Times) and Anne Stuller (Aug. 28, 2012 by Soccer America).
Kornieck led the Buffaloes to a pair of 1-0 road victories, scoring the lone goal in both wins. She had a goal in the 56th minute in a 1-0 victory over Arizona on Thursday and connected on a score in the 45th minute of another 1-0 win at Arizona State on Sunday.
