Throughout the night on Saturday, the Colorado offense had trouble moving the ball.
When the Buffaloes really needed a big drive, however, the offense came through.
A key drive late in third quarter propelled the Buffs to a 27-22 victory against Utah Folsom Field.
Utah's Andy Phillips drilled a 22-yard field goal with 2 minutes, 58 seconds left in the third quarter to tie the game at 13-13.
On the ensuing drive, quarterback Sefo Liufau marched the Buffs 75 yards in eight plays, capping it with a 6-yard touchdown pass to Shay Fields.
"It was real needed it, because we were just sputtering there with all the tipped balls and different things," head coach Mike MacIntyre said.
