If Gardner Minshew isn’t the best thing to happen to Laviska Shenault, Jay Gruden will be. Gruden, Shenault’s new boss and the Jaguars’ offensive coordinator, once opened a game with one of his wideouts, the Bengals’ Mohamed Sanu, behind center in the Wildcat formation.
On the first play from scrimmage, Sanu saw the safety creeping up, and responded by firing a 73-yard touchdown to A.J. Green.
