Karl Dorrell’s first spring football practices at CU likely delayed by coronavirus

The first practices of the Karl Dorrell Era are now officially in limbo, too.

CU Buffs officials told media Friday that it’s unlikely that spring practice will begin Monday as initially planned because of campus-wide concerns over the spread of the coronavirus.

Moreover, the future of CU spring football is contingent on discussions Friday and Saturday with Pac-12 and NCAA officials.

One scenario being floated is starting practices after the university’s spring break, which runs from March 21-29.

CU’s spring game, slated for April 25 at Folsom Field, could also be in jeopardy, pending discussions.
