Colorado is coming off a loss on the football field, but the Buffaloes have picked up a couple of victories on the recruiting trail.
On Monday, Julius Coates, a defensive lineman from East Mississippi Community College, announced his verbal commitment to CU for the 2020 class.
Coates’ commitment game one day after Louis Passarello, a tight end from Palo Alto (Calif.) High School announced his pledge to the Buffs.
Coates was in Boulder last weekend on an official visit. He played tight end at Ellsworth Community College as a freshman, but transferred to EMCC this year and moved to defense.
