BOULDER — University of Colorado senior-to-be Philip Juel-Berg has received the top academic honor in golf, as he has been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America’s All-America Scholar team.
Sponsored by Cleveland Golf and Srixon, he was one of 206 players in Division I afforded the honor. To be eligible for the team, candidates must be a junior or senior academically, have competed at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in at least 50 percent of his school’s rounds, own a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.
