The Colorado Buffaloes got a wonderful surprise Saturday evening surprise with a big time commitment. Jashua Allen, one of the best junior college prospects in the country and the 2nd best ILB prospect nationally (according to 247 Sports), pledged to the Buffs after recently including them in his top 5. Allen chose CU over Utah, Illinois, Iowa State, and Washington State.
Allen, recruited by Ross Els (who has quietly put together a great list of prospects he has recruited) and Darrin Chiaverini, is a 6’2, 225 pound athlete. His prototypical size is augmented by aggressive downhill running and a penchant for pain.
