SKELLEFTEÅ, Sweden – University of Colorado soccer alumna Bianca Jones has signed a professional contract with Morön BK in Skellefteå, Sweden.
“I am so blessed to have this opportunity in beautiful Sweden,” said Jones. “My goal was to always play after college, but actually signing an official contract seemed surreal. After my two knee surgeries, a lot of rehab and help from the wonderful staff in the CU Athletic Department, my dream of playing after school was realized and I truly couldn’t be more grateful.”
Jones, who graduated this past May, has already joined her new team for training sessions and could make her professional debut as early as Saturday, Aug.
