BOULDER – Due to inclement weather, the Jerry Quiller Classic, which was scheduled for Saturday, March 19, has been canceled.
Original estimates from the snowstorm that moved into Boulder on Thursday forecasted three inches of snow, but so far, Potts Field has accumulated roughly 10 inches and more snow is expected before the system moves out. With safety being a top priority, University of Colorado officials determined on Friday afternoon to cancel the meet.
The Buffs will now open the outdoor track and field season on March 26 at the Fum McGraw Quadrangular in Fort Collins, Colo.
