Jenny Coleman became the first former University of Colorado women's golfer to earn conditional LPGA status after finishing tied for 29th at the Final Stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament this past weekend in Daytona Beach, Fla.
"It means everything to be able to get a conditional LPGA Tour Card," Coleman said. "That's the ultimate goal. It's the top tier tour to play in."
Entering her final round at 1-over, Coleman rebounded to finish the fifth round with a 1-under 71, birding the 90th hole. For the tournament, Coleman shot an even-par 360.
"I'm very happy for Jenny Coleman earning her LPGA status," CU women's golf coach Anne Kelly said.
