BOULDER – Former University of Colorado women’s basketball standoutChucky Jefferyhas re-signed for a second season with ASC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe of the Romanian Liga Nationala.
A 5-foot-10 guard, Jeffery’s initial season with Sfantu Gheorghe was a memorable one. She was a Romanian Liga Nationala All-Star averaging 12.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists. Jeffery helped Sfantu Gheorghe to the Romanian Cup title and an appearance in the Liga Nationala Final Series.
Jeffery was named to the Eurobasket.com Romanian League All-Imports Team and All-Defensive Team in 2014-15. She earned honorable mention to that program’s overall All-Romanian League squad.
