The Colorado Buffaloes have found a superstar running back in Jarek Broussard. The redshirt sophomore was just named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Buffs to a clutch 24-13 win over the Arizona Wildcats.
Broussard had a career-high 301 rushing yards against Arizona, the fourth most in a game in CU history. He did that on just 25 carries, meaning he averaged an absurd 12 yards per carry. Since 2000, only seven other players have done that: Semaj Perine, Melvin Gordon, Ka’Deem Carey (against Colorado), Kay-Jay Harris, Maurice Jones-Drew, Chris Brown (Sko Buffs) and Bryce Love.
