Huang Falls in First Round at ITA National Fall Championships

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. - The University of Colorado tennis freshman Linda Huang fell in the opening round at the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.

The Australia native, is coming off an impressive showing at the ITA Regionals where she defeated five opponents on her way to the event's championship round. Today, Huang faced No. 57 ranked Kaitlyn McCarthy of Duke in the round of 64. Huang fell 6-0, 6-1.

"This is a great opportunity for Linda to compete against some of the best in college tennis," said head coach Nicole Kenneally.
