LONDON – Former Colorado forward Shanade Hopcroft signed her first professional contract with the London City Lionessess on Monday.
Hopcroft, who concluded her collegiate career with the Buffaloes in November, returns to her home country after totaling six goals and 10 assists in the 2021 season.
"It's really exciting to be able to say I've joined London City," Hopcroft said. "I just can't wait to get onto the pitch and pull on a London City shirt for the first time."
Hopcroft, Colorado's 2021 MVP, led the Buffs with 22 points last season.
