ATLANTA – Colorado senior Mya Hollingshed was bestowed honorable mention All-America honors by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Saturday, capping off an exciting 24 hours for the Buffaloes star.
The honor from the WBCA is the first for a Colorado player since Shelley Sheetz's first-team selection for the 1994-95 season. Colorado's last All-America selection was Chucky Jeffery's honorable mention AP All-America after the 2012-13 season.
Hollingshed, a Pac-12 All-Conference selection, concluded the season averaging the best numbers of her career. She led the Buffs in both points (15.4 ppg) and rebounds (7.
