CHELTENHAM, Australia – University of Colorado senior Kirsty Hodgkins tied for seventh at the prestigious Australian Master of the Amateurs Championship, carding a 4-over 292 at The Victoria Golf Club, a 6,905-yard par 72 course.
The tournament took place January 7-10 with only the top 25 (plus ties) advancing to the fourth and final round. Hodgkins was in a good position as she was tied for 10th after three rounds with a 218, just two strokes over par.
She started the tournament by shooting a 1-under 71, which included four birdies, and followed it up with a 3-over 75 in the second round.
