LAKE PLACID, N.Y.—In a busy two days at World University Games, the Colorado Buffaloes made history by securing two more medalists to match the best performance by a group of Buffs with still several competitions ahead before it's all said and done at the 31st Winter World University Games.
Tuesday saw two medalists as senior Magnus Boee took sliver in the 10K classic race and senior Emma Hammergaard took bronze in the women's giant slalom.
Those two join Anna-Maria Dietze, who medaled Monday to give the Buffs three medals at these games, matching the most by a CU contingent in World University Games history and marking the first time three different Buffs earned medals in one games.
