WALNUT, Calif. – Colorado's Jada Green and India Johnson found themselves on the podium at the end of day one at the Pac-12 Championships on Friday.
The CU women are in second with a team score of 15 points with two events scored. The men completed three scored events on the first day and sit in fifth with 14 points
Green picked up the Buffs' first podium finish of the meet, setting a new school record in the women's javelin. Green's first throw of 47.78m (156-9) was enough to get into the finals.
