Golfers Now Sixth At Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

PALM DESERT, Calif. — The University of Colorado men's golf team stands in sixth place through 36 holes of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, as the second round was completed here Saturday.

No. 18 Texas Tech took sole possession of first place with a 4-under team score of 572, with No. 81 Boise State two back at 574 and No. 51 TCU in third (575). No. 39 Kansas and No. 47 Colorado State are tied for fourth with 12-over 588 totals.

The Buffaloes, tied for fifth after the first 18 holes, dropped one spot into sixth despite shaving four strokes off its daily score.
