Golfers Move Into Second At Air Force

Buffs Record Best Score in Second Round

USAFA, Colo. — The University of Colorado men's golf team enjoyed the best day in the 18-team field here Saturday, as the Buffaloes used a 10-under par team performance to jump from fourth into second after two rounds of the 51st Annual Gene Miranda Air Force Falcon Invitational.

Host Air Force continued to lead its own tournament, finishing 36 holes at 12-under par 564. The Buffaloes, nine behind the Falcons at the start of the day, shaved seven strokes off their lead after turning in a 10-under score of 278, the best single round in the tournament, to move to 10-under 566 overall.
