Golfers In 15th At Arizona's N.I.T.

TUCSON, Ariz. — The University of Colorado men's golf team is still looking for that signature tournament this spring, but got off to a poor start here Monday, landing in 15th place after the first two rounds of the University of Arizona's National Invitational Tournament.

No. 4 Arizona State saw its five players scored a combined seven rounds in the 60s, including all five doing so in the second round en route to a 33-under par team score of 543. The Sun Devils had a 25-under par 263 in round two, believed to be the best individual single round in college golf this season, as they had to "throw out" a 69, their fifth score in the afternoon.
