BOULDER – The University of Colorado women's volleyball team played its annual Black and Gold Scrimmage Saturday afternoon with the Gold team coming out on top.
The Gold team picked up three set wins (25-20, 19-25, 25-16, 25-20), though the entire team performed well as the squads mixed lineups in every set.
Justine Spann led all players with 17 kills while hitting .268. She committed just six errors in 41 attempts. Teaming up with Jenna Ewert the entire match, the duo performed well with Ewert dishing out 35 assists.
