AUSTIN— Abbey Glynn headlined the opening day for the contingent of Colorado women who opened competition at the NCAA Championships at Mike A Myers Track & Soccer Stadium on Thursday.
Glynn and India Johnson were CU's lone individuals to compete on Thursday. Grace Jenkins, Emma Pollak, Jaida Drame and Glynn teamed for the 4x400 relay.
Conditions were hot in Austin with temperatures still pushing 80 degrees with 79% humidity during the evening session.
Glynn kicked things off for the Buffs, breaking her school record in the women's 400-meter hurdles semifinal.
