The unbeaten season came to a screeching halt Sunday for the Colorado women's soccer team, as the Buffaloes dropped a 7-0 decision at top-ranked Stanford.
It was a rough opener for the Buffs' demanding season-ending run, which continues Thursday afternoon at Prentup Field against the No. 2-ranked USC Trojans. On a weekend that also features a Sunday matchup against No. 8 UCLA, the Buffs begin play four points behind league co-leaders Stanford and USC and one point behind UCLA.
