A funeral service for former Colorado running back Rashaan Salaam will be held on Friday.
According to CUBuffs.com, the service will be held at the Islamic Center of Boulder, located at 5495 Baseline Road. It will begin at noon, but those planning to attend are asked to arrive no later than 11:45 a.m.
The public is welcome to attend. After the service, the public is welcome to follow the funeral procession to Mountain View Memorial Park, at 2016 Kalmia Ave.
Salaam, who played at CU from 1992-94 and won the Heisman Trophy in 1994, passed away on Monday night, at the age of 42.
