In one of the weird stories you’ll read this season, a fugitive wanted by the federal government was arrested on Tuesday at the home of Colorado Buffaloes football players.
Donte Faison, 24, had been the subject of a U.S. Marshals Service manhunt for a shooting in Baltimore where he is facing first-degree attempted murder. Faison was a childhood friend of a Colorado player, and came into town on Monday to visit.
According to police, none of the players who were with Faison at any point knew that he was a wanted man.
After authorities discovered his location, a six-hour standoff took place at the home before coming to a peaceful end.
