BOULDER – Colorado's bottom three lineup positions carried the Buffs to a come-from-behind 4-3 win over New Mexico at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center on Wednesday. CU trailed 3-1 early on, but picked up wins at No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to improve to 2-1 on the season. The Lobos dropped to 3-3.
Three of the four Buffs that earned victories were freshmen.
DOUBLES: New Mexico took the first doubles match, earning a 6-2 victory at No. 2 as Polly Chen and Albie Huang defeated Ky Ecton and Sara Nayar.
