Former Colorado receiver Jay MacIntyre is following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather by jumping into the coaching arena.
A graduate of Monarch High School, MacIntyre announced on Twitter on Sunday that he will coach receivers at Southeastern University, an NAIA school in Lakeland, Fla.
MacIntyre completed his playing career at CU last season, catching 20 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns as a senior. A three-year starter as a slot receiver, MacIntyre caught 86 passes for 1,035 yards and six touchdowns in his career with the Buffs.
His father, Mike, was the Buffs' head coach from 2013-18 and is now the defensive coordinator at Mississippi.
