BOULDER – Five members of the University of Colorado lacrosse team were selected as Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Scholar-Athletes, the conference announced Friday.
The MPSF recognizes student-athletes with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point-average, are at least a sophomore academically, have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received and have competed in at least 50 percent of the institution’s competition in his or her respective sport.
The Buffaloes named to the All-Academic team were defenders Perri Baker (business) and Maddie DeWinter (engineering), goalkeeper Paige Soenksen (international affairs and Chinese), and midfielders Tori Link (business) and Marie Moore (psychology).
