CU head coach Tad Boyle, however, didn't use that grind as an excuse following the Buffs' season-ending 68-55 loss at Texas Wednesday in the NIT quarterfinals. Particularly since CU was just two weeks removed from playing three games in three days at the Pac-12 Conference tournament in Las Vegas.
