Former Colorado women's basketball coach Linda Lappe has been hired as the associate head coach at the University of San Francisco.
The school announced Lappe's hiring on its website on Tuesday.
"I feel very fortunate to have Linda join the program," USF head coach Molly Goodenbour said in the announcement. "She is well respected across the country for her work ethic, coaching and teaching efficacy along with her skill at player development and attention to detail. She is a consummate professional and her experience at the Pac-12 level will be an asset to our program."
Lappe, who played for CU from 1998-2003, was the head coach at CU for six seasons before having her contract terminated in March.
