Prior to Sunday's 4-1 win against Iowa at Prentup Field, University of Colorado soccer senior striker Emily Bruder was having a hard time getting her offensive game going.
But after netting Colorado's (5-3) first two goals in the opening 21 minutes of play, the tide seemed to turn in her favor for the first time this season.
Before sizing up with the Hawkeyes (6-2), Bruder had yet to score a goal after eight shots. She only had one assist to her name in CU's first seven games of the season.
